Private Golf Lessons

Private golf lessons in Raleigh NC are available year round and include the use of the Explanar during lessons. During inclement weather, lessons may be moved indoors to our indoor studio at The Golf Academy which has full 2-camera video capability and virtual ball flight tracking through our P3Pro simulator.

Group golf clinics and golf schools are available in Spring and Fall.

We suggest students taking private golf lessons with us for the first time start with a one hour initial visit to allow plenty of time to establish a great start. This one hour lesson includes background assessment, swing diagnosis, digital video golf swing analysis, DVD copy of swing video with voice-over commentary, written notes for practice and supervised ball hitting working on new changes.

After this initial session we will recommend a follow-up program of half hour golf lessons to accomplish your objectives.

Golf lessons are available most weekdays and several evenings as late as 8pm. Limited Saturday appointments are available in Spring and Fall.  If you schedule at least a week in advance, you can normally get your choice of times. It is recommended to arrive at The Golf Academy 10 minutes early to allow time for warm-up as practice balls will be available prior to start of the lesson.

Private Golf Lesson Rates:

One-hour lesson:                   $150.00

Half-hour lesson:                  $  75.00

Local Residents:
(3) Half-hour lessons:          $ 195.00
(4) Half-hour lessons:          $ 250.00
(5) Half-hour lessons:          $ 295.00

Online golf lessons are available for $49.95.

Explanar Rental:
Students who have been trained on the use of the Explanar may rent practice time on the unit between lessons. Simply sign in at the golf shop. Fee is $5.00 per visit.

All lesson series & instruction packages must be pre-paid in full to receive discount prices.
All pre-paid lessons & series expire December 31st of the year purchased unless stipulated otherwise.
No refunds or transfers are allowed.
Lessons are by appointment only and require 24-hour notice for cancellation.
“No-shows” or last minute cancellations that go unfilled will count as a lesson and will be deducted from series count.
